Engineer Risk Management

About the Role

Hill International (KSA) is seeking an Engineer - Risk Management to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves developing and implementing risk management strategies to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure projects. The Engineer will collaborate closely with project teams to identify potential risks, evaluate their impact, and formulate effective mitigation plans.

Role Contribution

The primary objective of this position is to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and other adverse outcomes through expert risk management. The Engineer will play a crucial role in integrating risk management practices into project planning and execution, contributing to overall project stability and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for infrastructure projects, identifying potential hazards, their likelihood, and impact.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register, tracking and prioritizing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and implement risk management plans, including contingency strategies and mitigation measures.
• Monitor and analyze project performance, identifying emerging risks and taking proactive measures to address them.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Conduct regular risk reviews and provide risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risks and proposed actions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in risk management, incorporating new methodologies into processes.
• Provide risk management training and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that risk management practices align with quality standards and requirements.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within infrastructure projects.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic environment focused on large-scale infrastructure projects. The role requires close collaboration with various project teams and stakeholders.
