Job Summary

Edition is seeking a Supervisor Loss Prevention to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing security operations, protecting company assets, and ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff. The supervisor will manage various aspects of loss prevention, including patrols, investigations, and emergency response, while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Core Responsibilities

• Patrol all hotel areas and assist guests with room access as needed.
• Conduct emergency situation drills, daily physical integrity, and safety hazard inspections.
• Perform investigations, interviews, and key control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and authorize, control, and document access to secured areas.
• Respond to accidents, administer first aid or CPR, and contact Emergency Medical System (EMS) when necessary.
• Gather information, complete reports, and maintain confidentiality of all documents.
• De-escalate disturbances, resolve safety hazards, and handle all disruptions and complaints.
• Escort undesirable persons from the hotel and ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.
• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a point of contact for company policies.
• Comply with all company safety policies, report maintenance issues, and complete required safety training.
• Ensure professional appearance, protect company proprietary information and assets, and support co-workers.
• Meet quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds (** kg) without assistance.
• Capable of assisting in moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing more than 75 pounds (** kg).
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or the entire work shift, and move at a speed required to respond to work situations.
• Proficiency in reading and visually verifying information in various formats, and visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines.
• Competence in entering and locating work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, crawling, and leaning.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs.
• Capability to ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps.

Communication and Professionalism

• Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephone calls with appropriate etiquette.
• Listen and respond appropriately to other employees' problems.
• Remain alert to the possible appearance of objectionable persons on the property.
• Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
