Technician Communications

About the Role

Four Points is seeking a Technician-Communications to join our team. This full-time role involves planning and coordinating IT-related equipment installations, system enhancements, and maintaining technology infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate installations, moves, additions, changes, and enhancements for information technology-related equipment.
• Operate computer and peripheral equipment by entering commands and activating controls.
• Resolve non-routine issues concerning hardware, software, or guest room internet access.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of technology devices.
• Manage and maintain PBX/telephone switchboard systems and associated hardware.
• Ensure computer and telephone rooms are secured and access is restricted using an interrogated key system.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues, addressing service needs and responding appropriately to concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and external regulations, serving as a role model within the department.
• Identify and recommend new methods to improve organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Perform visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Utilize computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems for information entry and retrieval.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: No high school diploma or * equivalent is required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• Licenses/Certifications: None specified.
