Testing And Commissioning Manager

About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Testing And Commissioning Manager for a full-time position. This role involves providing commissioning expertise for various projects, encompassing the planning and management of all testing and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful project delivery. The manager will also be responsible for the overall management of site pre-commissioning and final commissioning works for each stage of a project.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee testing and commissioning plans submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with project operational requirements.
• Manage and validate all technical specification portions related to testing and pre-commissioning components of contracts for works requiring design, construction, and testing services.
• Ensure the development of integrated commissioning plans and oversee the preparation of commissioning schedules.
• Manage the day-to-day commissioning process and lead the commissioning team to ensure effective and efficient operation across various projects.
• Oversee all aspects of commissioning, maintaining daily interface with subcontractors and client representatives.
• Manage contractors to perform in accordance with contract requirements.
• Lead the development of a logically linked testing and commissioning program as part of the overall project construction.
• Ensure that all health & safety and precautionary requirements and procedures are followed during the testing and commissioning process.
• Review and provide feedback on contractors' Testing and Commissioning handover document submittals.
• Provide input to Project Managers and the Technical team to ensure requirements are managed effectively with regard to safety and efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate on-site project commissioning activities after clearance from the Project Manager.
• Monitor contractors' Testing and Commissioning handover progress and ensure works are designed and implemented according to technical specifications and applicable codes.
• Identify potential quality problems to assist in developing constructability review reports.
