TPE V / Gas Compression SME

About the Role

Wood is seeking a TPE V / Gas Compression SME to serve as the Technical Authority across its portfolio of energy, oil & gas, mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional with over 10 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical authority for Gas Processing and Gas Compression systems. This includes expertise in compressors, gas turbines, compressor stations, Sulphur Treatment Technologies, and package integration within various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Technical Authority across multiple projects.
• Lead technical reviews during Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
• Perform independent design assurance and peer reviews.
• Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide specialist guidance.
• Support proposals, client workshops, and business development activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of technical capability.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A recognized industry expert with a proven track record.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Experience in influencing clients and mentoring engineering teams.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience driving technical excellence across major international projects.
