Weight bridge Operator

About the Role

Matar Al Baqmi Holding Company is seeking a Weight bridge Operator to manage the weighing of incoming and outgoing trucks. This full-time position involves maintaining accurate records and ensuring the smooth movement of vehicles within the facility. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge system for all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Accurately record truck weights, vehicle details, material type, supplier/customer information, and quantities.
• Issue and verify weighbridge tickets and delivery documents.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Production, and Security teams.
• Check delivery and dispatch documents against weighbridge records.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies in vehicle weight or documentation.
• Maintain daily weighing records and prepare reports.
• Ensure the weighbridge equipment and system are functioning properly and report any issues.
• Follow company safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all transactions.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Weighbridge Operator, preferably in a feed mill, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, or industrial environment.

Required Skills

• Basic computer skills, especially MS Excel and data entry.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work shifts and handle high-volume truck movements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position where the operator will be responsible for managing vehicle movements and maintaining accurate records at the facility. The role requires attention to detail and coordination with various internal teams.
