About KBR and the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Supervisor to join its team in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position within KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), which delivers holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle.

Role Overview

The Equipment Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating and supervising heavy lifting and equipment operations on site. This position is integral to ensuring the safe and effective use of equipment, contributing to KBR STS's mission of optimizing planned and operating assets through world-class licensed process technologies, advisory services, and high-end design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive job instructions for both equipment and lifting teams.
• Coordinate all heavy lifts and equipment movements across the site.
• Ensure that all lifting equipment is maintained and operated in safe working condition.
• Supervise lifting teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational efficiency.
• Supervise heavy equipment teams, overseeing their daily activities and performance.
• Demonstrate proactive safety aptitude and behavior, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Ensure that personnel are equipped with the necessary skills, training, resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities safely and effectively, in compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant supervisory role.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management specifically within Oil & Gas Facilities.
• Proven leadership skills, demonstrated through experience with large organizations.
• Well-organized and proactive individual with excellent communication skills.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and a demonstrated ability to resolve problems effectively.
• Possession of strategic management skills.

Work Environment and Mobility

This position is based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role requires an ability to achieve business results while working effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility for international travel and be prepared to live in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
