Role Summary: Civil Site Engineer (Substations V)

We are actively recruiting a Civil Site Engineer (Substations V) for immediate placement in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. This full-time position involves critical civil engineering oversight and execution for 380kV substation developments, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all civil works for 380kV substations, including piling, foundations, control/relay buildings, GIS/AIS bays, cable trenches, roads, drainage, fencing, and grounding trenches, in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and SEC/NGC standards.
• Verify accurate setting-out of equipment foundations, structures, trenches, and site levels against survey benchmarks and design coordinates prior to construction.
• Inspect and sign off concrete pours, reinforcement, formwork, backfilling, and compaction through Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs); raise and close non-conformances through the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process.
• Provide daily supervision of civil subcontractor crews and equipment, monitoring productivity, workmanship, and resource levels against the approved program.
• Maintain and accurately report daily/weekly civil progress, manpower, and material records to the Site/Project Manager, contributing to the overall project schedule.
• Coordinate concrete, steel, soil, and backfill material tests with the site laboratory and testing agency, verifying results against specification limits.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with electrical, mechanical, and grounding works to avoid clashes and support the overall construction sequence and handover milestones.
• Compile and accurately hand over as-built drawings, inspection records, test certificates, and redlines to support project close-out and client acceptance.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role must possess 5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in civil engineering, with a specific focus on substation projects. Immediate availability for joining is required.

The Civil Site Engineer will operate within a dynamic project environment, overseeing the comprehensive civil scope for 380kV substation construction. This involves ensuring all stages of work, from initial groundwork to final handover, meet stringent quality and safety requirements.
