Role Overview

The Cost Controller will be integral to managing project finances, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring. This role requires a professional capable of maintaining robust cost control systems and providing timely financial insights within a complex industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost control systems to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor actual costs against established budgets and report variances with clear, timely updates.
• Coordinate with project controls teams to validate cost data, support change management processes, and assess financial risks.
• Track all turnaround and brownfield costs throughout both planning and execution phases.
• Participate in post-turnaround reviews to evaluate cost performance and capture lessons learned for future projects.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in cost control, preferably within the petrochemical or heavy industrial sector. This contract role requires a professional with a proven track record in managing complex project finances and a strong understanding of cost control principles.
