Role Overview: Engineer Analyzer

We are seeking a full-time Engineer Analyzer to join our team in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to specifying and commissioning new analyzers for efficiency improvement projects and obsolescence mitigation. The Engineer Analyzer will lead small capital/expense projects, provide technical support for larger capital/expense projects across multiple operating units, and serve as a subject-matter expert for analyzer Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment availability at the highest feasible operating level, including researching and communicating new technologies and maintenance practices.
• Provide technical leadership and support to the Analyzer and Electrical maintenance groups as required.
• Apply appropriate reliability tools (*, Worst Actor Program, FMEA, RBI, RBM, RCM, Reliability Roadmap) to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve asset availability.
• Develop Critical Equipment lists and Critical Spares Inventory recommendations, including monitoring and optimizing the stores system for future site-wide needs.
• Participate in incident investigations to discover root causes of problems and implement corrective actions to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.
• Ensure the effectiveness of analytical techniques for detecting and diagnosing problems in Analyzer equipment.
• Ensure all Analyzer equipment has an accurate criticality defined.
• Develop and maintain history and performance to reveal underperforming assets, communicating findings and implementing resolutions on time.
• Support the life cycle effort for Analyzers.
• Participate and provide advice in developing plans for major shutdowns, construction, or alteration projects.
• Responsible for the discipline engineering and design for capital and expense projects, adhering to sound life cycle management principles, site engineering standards, and industry best practices.
• Provide project management support for small capital and expense projects where analyzers constitute the majority of the scope.
• Support the execution of plant Management of Change (MOC), including updated document review and project closeout.
• Execute Quality Assurance, Quality Control activities (*, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Loop checks).
• Prepare technical reports and studies as directed by manager.
• Strictly follow established environmental, health, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
• Undertake accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
• Contribute to the processes of continuous improvement for the assigned area.
• Perform any other relevant task as directed by the Lead Engineer Instrument.

Required Qualifications

• Academic Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Strong ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
