About AIQU and the Role

AIQU is seeking a PLC & SCADA Engineer for a contract opportunity. This role is based in Al Jubail, within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, and focuses on industrial automation projects.

Role Overview

The PLC & SCADA Engineer will be responsible for various aspects of industrial automation systems, from initial setup and configuration to ongoing support and integration. This position requires hands-on involvement with critical control systems and communication protocols to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning of industrial automation systems.
• Provide site support and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
• Execute system integration tasks for various industrial applications.
• Develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solutions.
• Configure industrial networks and integrate third-party systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC.
• Strong experience with FactoryTalk SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of HMI development, industrial network configuration, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency in various Fieldbus communication protocols, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.

Work Type and Location

This is a contract position requiring 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. The role is based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, and involves working on site to support industrial automation projects.
