About the Role

Kempinski Hotels is seeking an Executive Assistant Manager i/c of Food & Beverage for its operations in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role is central to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects within the Food & Beverage department, upholding the brand's and hotel's specific standards. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a leadership capacity.

Core Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant Manager i/c of Food & Beverage holds comprehensive responsibility for the strategic planning, operational excellence, and financial performance of the Food & Beverage division. This role involves direct oversight of departmental functions and adherence to established quality and service benchmarks.

Operational Management and Quality Assurance

• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects of the Food & Beverage department according to brand and hotel standards.
• Control all operational tasks, including their respective delegation and oversight.
• Re-evaluate workflows to improve and optimize organization.
• Implement and evaluate procedures and policies.
• Ensure clear communications with all other department heads.
• Ensure and communicate up-to-date procedures for all safety-relevant measures with the Fire & Safety team.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure quality standards and cleanliness in front and back of the house areas.
• Control the technical situation of the departments in rooms divisions.
• Maintain high visibility with guests and employees.
• Responsible for maintaining 85% scoring for LQA inspections.
• Serve as Manager on Duty on weekdays and weekends.
• Assume GM responsibility in the General Manager's absence.

Financial Performance and Revenue Optimization

• Participate in the development and preparation of the hotel's strategic plan.
• Prepare budgets and monitor revenues.
• Take responsibility for Profit and Loss.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management and Sales to maximize F&B occupancy, rates, average check, and profits.
• Optimize revenue through sales-promoting activities and controlling Revenue Management to achieve the best possible Revenue Penetration Market Share in the market.
• Oversee all labor cost controls within budget limits and occupancy variances to maximize productivity.

Team Leadership and Development

• Control the duty roster for sub-departments, guaranteeing quality and considering the highest personnel cost efficiency.
• Conduct interviews with possible future employees.
• Create Career Development plans for each employee who is part of the Talent Pool or High Potentials.
• Regularly organize departmental meetings.
• Communicate the strategy and targets of the management to departmental heads and line staff, ensuring implementation.
