Multi NDT Technician

About the Role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Multi NDT Technician to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position is for a Level II Technician responsible for performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment according to established procedures.
• Interpret and evaluate NDT results in adherence to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Demonstrate thorough familiarity with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods being utilized.
• Exercise assigned responsibilities effectively within the NDT framework.
• Verify that all equipment, accessories, and consumables used have valid calibration/conformity certificates and are appropriate for use as per approved procedures.
• Perform verification and calibration of instrument characteristics before executing NDT tasks.
• Prepare comprehensive reports of inspection findings, ensuring results conform to relevant standards or specifications prior to client submittal.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Level II NDT Technician.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing.
• Strong understanding of NDT methods, their applications, and limitations.
• Ability to interpret and apply industry codes, standards, and specifications.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in setting up and calibrating NDT equipment.
• Attention to detail in verifying equipment certification and suitability.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting and evaluating NDT results.
• Effective report writing skills for documenting inspection findings.
