Worley, a global company specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources, is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer. Headquartered in Australia, Worley partners with customers to deliver projects and create value across asset lifecycles, focusing on consulting, engineering, procurement, and construction. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern, and involves leading and managing the Process Engineering discipline within project contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Process Engineering discipline team, providing technical direction to EPC Contractors.
• Coordinate with the iPMT Process Engineering organization, other project disciplines, Operations, technical departments, Contractors, and Licensors to resolve technical issues.
• Review and coordinate process engineering deliverables from EPC Contractors and Licensors, ensuring designs comply with codes, standards, and best practices.
• Monitor process engineering execution against the Engineering Execution Strategy and approved procedures.
• Approve key process engineering deliverables, including Process Design Basis, PFDs, P&IDs, Operating Philosophies, and various studies (*, Relief and Depressurization, Flare Design).
• Serve as the primary iPMT focal point for Process Engineering matters among the Owner, EPC Contractors, Licensors, and third-party certification agencies.
• Manage technical interfaces and ensure proper process integration across all facilities and battery limits, including PDH, Polypropylene, Utilities, Offsites, and Flare Systems.
• Lead the implementation of process safety management principles throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Facilitate and manage P&ID reviews, HAZOP studies, Process Safety Reviews, SIL assessments, and LOPA studies.
• Ensure compliance with Owner requirements, international HSE standards, and local regulations.
• Track HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and safety study recommendations through closure and monitor their implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
• Over 10 years of substantial technical and practical experience in process engineering within the same or a similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Demonstrated technical and practical engineering skills, with the ability to deliver quality, accurate, and timely work.
• Sound knowledge of fundamental process engineering requirements and basic requirements of other engineering fields.
• Proficiency in applicable local and international standards, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Competent use of process engineering-specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management, or equivalent supervisory qualifications.
