Role Overview

The Storekeeper is responsible for the systematic management of goods within the warehouse. This involves ensuring the correct handling of incoming shipments, meticulous record-keeping, and adherence to established supply chain procedures. The role demands a strong focus on detail, physical capability, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards in all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Open stores according to supply chain management instructions.
• Receive goods and receipts from suppliers.
• Match the quantity of received items in the order delivery with the corresponding purchase order.
• Review the expiry dates of all received items.
• Forward supplier invoices to both the purchase and finance departments.
• Select one item from each received batch for verification by data entry.
• Sign and stamp supplier invoices after verification and completion of any pending tasks.
• Submit required daily reports.
• Close stores at the end of the duty period.
