About the Role

Centro Corniche is seeking a Chef Tournant to join its kitchen team in Al Khobar. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to delivering high-quality culinary services and creative solutions for guests.

Role Overview

The Chef Tournant plays a crucial role in the culinary department, supporting the Chef de Cuisine in directing, training, and supervising kitchen operations. This position ensures the consistent delivery of quality food products to guests while contributing to the overall profitability of the department. The role involves active participation in various kitchen stations as needed, maintaining high standards across all culinary activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistency and the highest quality in taste, presentation, and food temperature for all dishes served within assigned kitchen areas.
  • Ensure the quality and cleanliness of all food displays according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Contribute to creative food displays to enhance guest experience.
  • Monitor and manage all aspects related to the control of the hotel’s food cost.
  • Implement and adhere to HACCP standards and appropriate hygiene regulations as required by municipality standards.
  • Participate in consistent on-the-job training sessions for culinary colleagues, promoting health and safety practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment. A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a commitment to culinary excellence are essential.
