About the Co-op Trainee Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Co-op Trainee (Information Technology) for a full-time position. This role is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and is open to Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The trainee will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on various projects.

Role Responsibilities

The Co-op Trainee will learn and perform a range of IT-related duties, applying fundamental information technology principles and best practices within a specific discipline. Assignments may involve a structured rotational program offering experience in areas such as IT Support, Systems Administration, Cybersecurity, and Business Applications, alongside exposure to diverse technology functions. The trainee will utilize technical documentation and company policies to ensure adherence to IT standards, security protocols, and operational procedures, becoming familiar with various systems and tools. This position also includes performing other appropriate responsibilities as assigned.

Educational Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must be currently enrolled in an Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related curriculum at an accredited college or university. Applicants should have typically completed at least three years of study in their major.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• A working knowledge of common IT tools, systems, and software, including operating systems, networking fundamentals, and basic troubleshooting techniques, is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, databases, and/or programming concepts is considered a plus.
