Discipline Project Engineer (Mechanical Electrical Civil/Structural & Piping)

About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Discipline Project Engineer to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position requires a professional with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The role involves managing and coordinating discipline engineering activities across all project phases for Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, and Piping disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, Saudi Aramco standards, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
• Support procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe and successful project execution.
• Monitor progress and support project schedule, quality, and cost objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Mandatory experience with Saudi Aramco projects.
• Experience in EPC and/or PMC projects.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS, SATIP) and applicable international codes.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup support.

Required Discipline Experience

• Mechanical: Experience with rotating and static equipment, utilities, and mechanical systems.
• Electrical: Experience with power distribution systems, substations, transformers, motors, and UPS systems.
• Civil/Structural: Experience with foundations, structural steel, buildings, roads, and infrastructure works.
• Piping: Experience with piping design, layouts, stress analysis, material selection, and pipeline systems.

Preferred Project Experience

• Experience in refineries, gas plants, GOSPs, pipelines, tank farms, and infrastructure projects is preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic project-oriented environment focused on the Oil & Gas sector.
