As Lucidya scales its platform and moves toward IPO-scale engineering, it seeks a Frontend Software Engineer to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This is a full-time position open strictly to Saudi nationals.

Role Overview

The Frontend Software Engineer will be responsible for building high-quality user experiences and leveraging modern engineering practices, including AI, to deliver software efficiently. This role is suitable for an engineer with 0-2 years of professional experience who possesses a solid foundation in frontend development and aims to grow in an environment that values ownership, speed, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The focus is on understanding problems, building maintainable solutions, collaborating effectively, and continuously improving work processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-grade web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable frontend components.
• Translate product requirements and designs into clean, intuitive, and responsive user experiences.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and real-time communication services, including WebSockets/***
• Work with event-driven flows connected to RabbitMQ and backend messaging systems, managing real-time updates and synchronization.
• Manage server state efficiently using React Query/TanStack Query and client-side state with Redux/Redux Toolkit when appropriate.
• Contribute to improving frontend architecture, performance, code organization, and maintainability.
• Write reliable unit and integration tests using Jest, and build end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Actively participate in code reviews, identify regressions, and debug issues systematically.
• Utilize AI coding tools as an engineering accelerator for research, prototyping, implementation, debugging, testing, and refactoring solutions, while critically reviewing AI-generated code.
• Take ownership of work from requirement understanding through implementation, testing, review, and production.
• Communicate clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide/receive constructive feedback.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• 0-2 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and hands-on experience building applications with React.
• Good understanding of TypeScript and type-safe development.
• Familiarity with React Query/TanStack Query and Redux/Redux Toolkit.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Understanding of frontend testing and experience with tools such as Jest and Playwright.
• Familiarity with real-time frontend architectures using WebSockets/** and basic understanding of message queues/event-driven systems like RabbitMQ.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to debug problems, write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve software engineering productivity.
• Strong willingness to learn, continuously improve, and possess good communication and teamwork skills.
