About Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts and the Role

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, a member of the Accor network which encompasses over 45 brands and 5,500 hotels, is seeking a Revenue Manager. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Region, and is open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The role is central to driving revenue growth across our hotels and brands, optimizing pricing strategies, and enhancing channel performance through sector-leading technology.

Role Purpose and Collaboration

The Revenue Manager will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to optimize overall revenue performance and achieve business objectives. This involves formulating and executing comprehensive revenue strategies, managing inventory effectively, and collaborating with the executive team on forecasting and pricing decisions. The role also contributes to the internal and external revenue management community of practice and includes mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic revenue plans for the hotel.
• Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to inform and adjust revenue strategies.
• Lead weekly or bi-weekly Revenue Management meetings, providing insights based on reporting data.
• Develop topline revenue forecasts and actively identify opportunities to drive incremental profit across all revenue centers.
• Conduct regular performance reviews to optimize pricing and inventory levels.
• Mentor, coach, and support the development of junior team members in revenue management practices.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and front office teams to achieve established revenue goals.
• Ensure efficient management of reservations and coordinate effectively with the reservations team.
• Drive market share within the competitive set and ensure all systems are adequately utilized to optimize RevPAR.
• Leverage knowledge of the distribution landscape, including online travel agencies and distribution networks, to optimize hotel profitability.
• Maintain data quality and system hygiene for all Revenue Management and Distribution applications, platforms, and tools used by the hotel.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in core revenue management principles.
• Strong understanding of the distribution landscape, including online travel agencies and emerging market trends.
