About the Role

Penta Consulting, a technology service provider and outsourced partner across EMEA, is seeking an experienced SAP Application Architect for enterprise integrations. This contract position is located in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, for one of our leading clients.

Role Overview

The SAP Application Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust enterprise integration solutions within SAP environments. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP integration landscapes and the ability to work with various integration technologies and protocols to ensure seamless data flow and system connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect SAP enterprise integration solutions.
• Develop and implement integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI.
• Configure and manage various integration adapters, including IDoc, SOAP, REST, and HTTP.
• Perform message mappings and transformations for diverse data formats.
• Ensure secure and hardened integration solutions within the SAP Integration Suite.
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
• Provide expertise on SAP ECC and S/4HANA integrations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in SAP application architecture and integration.
• Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP, including OO, CDS, and OData/Gateway Services.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI is essential.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA integration patterns.
• Familiarity with integration protocols and data formats such as SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with Adobe Live Cycle Designer.
• Good understanding of SAP integration architecture principles.
• Strong knowledge of security hardening options in SAP Integration Suite and various authentication types.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills. A solid grasp of SAP integration concepts and the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role are crucial for success in this position.

Work Arrangement

This is a contract role requiring the successful candidate to work on-site in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
