Role Overview

Eaton is seeking an Application Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves critical engineering and technical support functions, ensuring the accurate delivery of techno-commercial solutions and efficient project execution within the power management sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tendering and Bill of Material (BOM) activities for cable channel, cable containment, and cable ladders.
• Ensure accuracy in proposed techno-commercial solutions and engineering drawings/submittals.
• Handle technical tasks related to purchase orders, from drawing preparation to BOM conversion and release for production.
• Prepare final project documentation in accordance with customer order documentation list requirements.
• Coordinate with the local assembly team to resolve technical clarifications and ensure smooth order execution.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and quality departments to enhance product offerings, optimize designs, improve quality, and refine processes.
• Prioritize multi-functional tasks including specification review, product selection, cost/price development, and proposal generation.
• Participate in cost reduction projects and material localization initiatives.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Application Engineer position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar engineering role, demonstrating a strong background in the specified duties and responsibilities.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, within Eaton's operational framework. The role requires collaboration across various departments and with external stakeholders.
