About the Role

Jotun Middle East, India and Africa (MEIA) is seeking a Key Account Manager Retail to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on promoting and selling a range of Decorative products to new and existing Key customers and Key Accounts within the region. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing strong customer relationships and achieving sales objectives.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to utilize Jotun’s sales tools and techniques to drive sales, manage client relationships, and respond to sales and technical inquiries. The role aims to achieve budgeted sales, gross margin, Day Sales Outstanding (DSO), and customer satisfaction targets, thereby ensuring Jotun is recognized as a preferred supplier of high-quality products and services in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new customers by analyzing the market, planning visits to potential customers, and providing prompt responses to quotations and inquiries to secure growth and increase market share.
• Monitor Key Dealers closely to ensure Jotun’s products are utilized effectively to achieve targeted sales budgets.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, responding to inquiries, and offering advice on product selection to meet sales targets.
• Follow up and monitor customers regarding proper pricing and payment to reduce Days of Sales Outstanding and achieve the targeted gross margin.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, and Production to ensure the provision of high-quality service.
• Conduct market surveys to identify small and mid-size projects, assist key dealers in securing these projects, and enhance their sales performance.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in key account management or retail sales. Jotun is seeking individuals who demonstrate a strategic approach to business development and a strong focus on achieving measurable results. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and leveraging professional networks.
