About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Registrar to join its medical team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and illnesses within the ENT department. The Registrar will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive patient care, from initial assessment to treatment planning and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and document all findings accurately.
• Design and execute individualized patient care plans.
• Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, reviewing results to inform treatment.
• Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and proper medication use.
• Counsel patients on health promotion, disease prevention, diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare relevant to their cases.
• Fulfill all obligations related to maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the department head.

Specialty-Specific Duties

The Registrar will exercise specific clinical privileges based on their training, experience, skills, and the guidelines established by the Saudi Health Council. This includes performing additional tasks aligned with their specialty and clinical privileges as required by the department.

Compliance and Professional Development

• Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws, Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulations, and the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines of NCC.
• Comply with CBAHI standards of care and clinical & departmental structure standards, including attendance.
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other NCC departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
• Actively participate in all NCC Committees and Task Forces to which assigned.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and program evaluation activities, ensuring Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards are met.
• Contribute to the continuous professional development of all junior staff.
• Integrate evidence-based practices and population factors (heritage, environment, disease prevalence) into patient care.
• Develop, participate in, and support active Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for the Section, Department, or Clinical area as assigned by the chairman, including rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs.
• Complete all required fire safety training and requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must possess 0-1 years of relevant experience as an Otorhinolaryngology Registrar. A strong foundation in ENT diagnostics and treatment, coupled with a commitment to patient education and adherence to medical standards, is essential for success in this position.

Work Schedule and Environment

This full-time position operates in an indoor clinical environment, accounting for 100% of working hours. The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
