About the Associate Technical Professional Civil Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Associate Technical Professional Civil to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region. This full-time position involves comprehensive civil engineering work, focusing on the study, design, specification, and related services for various infrastructure projects. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering.

Core Responsibilities and Project Scope

The Associate Technical Professional Civil will be responsible for contributing to projects across a broad spectrum of civil engineering disciplines. This includes involvement in transportation systems such as road, rail, airport, and seaport infrastructure, as well as bridges and general infrastructure development. The role also encompasses drainage systems, underground utilities, hydrology/hydraulics, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, water resources, raw water supply, tunnels, and geotechnical design.

Key Accountabilities

• Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria under direct supervision.
• Exercise judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to established engineering approaches.
• Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments, gaining additional experience within a specific functional area.
• Contribute to assignments involving conventional types of plans, investigations, and surveys that feature relatively few complex elements and for which precedents exist.
• Perform job tasks accurately to indirectly impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and overall operations.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in civil engineering. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required, demonstrating proficiency in applying engineering principles and contributing to diverse civil projects.
