About the Role

Transguard Workforce Solutions is seeking an Engineering Trainee for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern region. This role is focused on product development and involves performing established technical tasks at the sub-system and/or component level for current and future products within a specific business unit or corporate area. The position requires 0-1 years of experience and serves as a central point of coordination and decision-making across various teams involved in the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Investigate product problems, understand causal mechanisms, recommend appropriate actions, and document results with guidance from experienced team members.
Work within established business processes such as Product Preceding Technology (PPT), Value Package Introduction (VPI), or Current Product Support (CPS).
Execute technical processes including Engineering Standard Work (ESW), iDFMEA, and Failure Incident Review Group (FIRG).
Utilize tools such as 7-step problem solving, design review checklists, and other specialized tools to support processes and facilitate high-quality decision-making.
Obtain input from stakeholders, including technical managers, project leaders, other product and manufacturing engineers, and supplier partners, to deliver information and recommendations for quality product decisions.
Apply academic knowledge and existing experience to take action and make decisions that advance projects without compromising quality expectations.
Own problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, systems, subsystems, or services, demonstrating a greater degree of technical complexity and accountability to the project team.
Provide independent execution of established work processes and systems while developing technology or product knowledge, and contribute to the improvement of systems and processes.
Coordinate and direct work among technicians and/or temporary student employees, with minimal direct management of people.
Contribute effectively toward team goals, exhibit influence within a work group, and continue to develop proficiency in critical competency areas for the role.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of relevant engineering experience.
Demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge to practical engineering tasks.
Familiarity with product lifecycle stages and engineering processes.

Required Skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in utilizing engineering tools and processes.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern region, and involves working within a dynamic environment that requires coordination with product line engineers, customer teams, systems engineers, purchasing, suppliers, and manufacturing personnel.
