About Dar Alqias and the Role

Dar Alqias is a prominent group of companies operating across professional consulting, valuation, and real estate development sectors in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The company is committed to contributing to distinguished projects and delivering innovative architectural solutions aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Architect to join our engineering team in a full-time capacity.

This role involves leading diverse design and supervisory projects from concept through final handover, requiring a professional with significant experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, preliminary, and detailed drawings for various project types, including residential, commercial, and government projects.
• Provide full technical supervision during execution phases, ensuring contractors' compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve engineering drawings submitted by consultants and subcontractors.
• Prepare periodic technical reports, monitor engineering violations or observations, and follow up on their closure.
• Coordinate with government entities, such as municipalities and relevant authorities, to obtain required permits and approvals.
• Coordinate and integrate with interior design, structural, and MEP teams to ensure project cohesion.
• Participate in technical feasibility studies for new projects and propose innovative design solutions.
• Train and mentor junior engineers within the team, if applicable.
• Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of experience as an Architect.
• Possession of a "Professional" classification in the engineering practice license issued by the Saudi Council of Engineers (mandatory).
• Valid and active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Prior experience designing high-rise towers on major axes/thoroughfares in Riyadh (mandatory).
• Prior experience working within engineering consultancy offices (mandatory).

Technical Skills

• Full proficiency in design and modeling software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp; BIM familiarity is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Saudi building codes, regulations, and Civil Defense/municipality requirements.
• Experience preparing terms of reference and technical specifications.
