Area Lead Opportunity at Wood

John Wood Group PLC, commonly known as Wood, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Lead to join its Projects business. This full-time position is crucial for supporting the development of significant infrastructure within the energy and materials sectors. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to a major new facility in Saudi Arabia, with initial flexibility for office-based work in key cities.

Project Focus and Key Contribution

The selected Area Lead will play a key part in the development of a new gold mining and processing facility. This involves active participation during both the construction and pre-commissioning phases of the project. The role's contribution is central to ensuring the successful establishment and readiness of this critical industrial asset.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Area Lead position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience. This experience should ideally be within project environments, particularly those related to construction or industrial facility development.

Work Location and Schedule

The position will initially be office-based in one of the following cities: Al Khobar, Riyadh, or Jubail. Following this initial period, the Area Lead will mobilise to a site-based assignment within Saudi Arabia. The site-based work will operate on an 8/2 rotation schedule.
