About Hala and the Automation Engineer Role

We are seeking a Full-time Automation Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, bringing 2-5 years of relevant experience to enhance our operational capabilities.

Role Overview

As an Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify and document process automation opportunities. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, testing, and deploying RPA bots, ensuring that these solutions are aligned with specific business needs. This role also involves conducting process evaluations and feasibility studies to assess automation potential and supporting workflow optimization across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to identify and document process automation opportunities.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA bots, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Conduct process evaluations and feasibility studies to assess automation potential.
• Monitor and optimize existing RPA bots, identifying areas for performance improvement.
• Maintain documentation for automation workflows, ensuring clarity and compliance with best practices.
• Assist in training business teams on new automation tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Process Automation Lead, business analysts, and IT teams to align automation solutions with enterprise-wide goals and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Provide regular updates on automation progress, performance, and challenges.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, test, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots.
• Experience in conducting process evaluations and feasibility studies to identify automation potential.
• Proficiency in monitoring and optimizing existing automation workflows for performance improvement.
• Strong documentation skills for automation processes, ensuring clarity and adherence to standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and IT personnel.
