Role Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for securing new business, managing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships to generate sponsorship and exhibition revenue. The role involves market analysis, deal negotiation, and close collaboration with internal and external teams to deliver value for sponsors and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to secure sponsorships and exhibition sales for events and conferences.
• Identify potential sponsors and exhibitors across various industries.
• Negotiate and close deals with clients to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop long-term partnerships by understanding client business needs.
• Serve as the main point of contact for sponsors and exhibitors throughout the event cycle.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
• Understand the local and regional market in Saudi Arabia, including key industries and sectors such as energy, technology, healthcare, and real estate.
• Collaborate with PM/RD and marketing teams to ensure sponsors and exhibitors receive value.
• Contribute to the design of sponsorship packages and exhibitor layouts.
• Ensure that deliverables for sponsors are executed according to agreements.
• Identify untapped markets and expand the client base.
• Develop innovative sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to increase revenue.
• Work with senior management to align business development goals with organizational objectives.
