About Awqaf Investment and the Role

Awqaf Investment (أوقاف للاستثمار), based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Business Development Vice President. This full-time role is central to identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving strategic growth for the company.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to lead initiatives that expand Awqaf Investment's market presence and revenue streams. The Vice President will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure business development strategies are aligned with the company’s offerings and effectively target key markets and industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, and industry trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their business needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential areas for business growth.
• Work closely with the strategy team to develop and execute strategies that drive business development and achieve departmental targets.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with other companies to expand the company’s reach and capabilities.
• Regularly review and report on business development activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand the business, increase revenue, and achieve strategic objectives.
• Assess market opportunities for AIC to offer new products and services, including designing and developing the required products and services.
• Lead the implementation of business development activities and meetings, and handle key opportunities and clients to ensure all necessary measures are taken to achieve set targets and direct corrective actions to overcome obstacles.
• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet functional requirements and achieve desired efficiency and performance excellence.
• Promote investment products and deliver pitches to target clients.
• Track business initiatives’ success and report insights to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in business development or a related field.
