Parsons Corporation is seeking an Engineering Director to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves providing strategic leadership and technical direction to a multidisciplinary engineering organization, focusing on the successful delivery of complex construction management assignments.

Role Overview

The Engineering Director will be responsible for integrating expertise, resources, and capabilities to ensure project success. This position requires a leader who can manage engineering teams, oversee resource allocation, and maintain high standards of quality and performance across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and technical leadership for the engineering discipline, ensuring team structures align with project requirements.
• Review and approve staffing budgets, resource plans, and assignment schedules, including workforce forecasting.
• Monitor the quality, progress, and performance of the discipline across projects to meet production and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to address challenges related to staffing, quality, schedule, and productivity.
• Establish and maintain discipline-specific standards, procedures, and technical manuals, recommending improvements for operational effectiveness.
• Lead the preparation of the discipline’s annual salary plan and manage salary actions within the approved framework.
• Oversee the employee lifecycle for the discipline, including recruitment, development, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Ensure new employees receive an effective introduction to the organization, its policies, and performance expectations.
• Support pre-contract and business development activities by providing senior technical guidance.
• Manage the discipline’s performance against assigned overhead budgets, ensuring efficient resource deployment.
• Actively participate in and champion the Quality Improvement Program, promoting continuous improvement.
• Lead discipline committees and internal forums to engage, motivate, and develop assigned personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and technical direction to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience in delivering complex construction management assignments.
