About KONE and the Opportunity

KONE, a certified Top Employer, is seeking a full-time Finance Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This role is designed for professionals with 2-5 years of experience who are dedicated to supporting financial operations and ensuring compliance. The Role of a Finance Specialist

As a Finance Specialist, you will play a central role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and ensuring adherence to accounting policies. The position involves contributing to an innovative and collaborative environment where individual contributions are valued, and employee engagement is a key focus. You will support KONE's commitment to ethical business practices and sustainability within its daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable activities, including supplier invoice verification, processing, and follow-up with shared service teams.
  • Monitor supplier accounts, resolve invoice discrepancies, and support timely vendor payments.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding reconciling items.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and post accruals, prepayments, recurring entries, and other journal entries.
  • Maintain fixed asset records, including asset creation, transfers, disposals, and depreciation reviews.
  • Coordinate intercompany transactions, debit notes, confirmations, and reconciliations.
  • Review VAT and withholding tax transactions and support tax reporting and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Monitor GR/IR balances and collaborate with operational teams to resolve open items.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of banking and treasury-related accounting records.
  • Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, and monthly cash flow reporting.
  • Process treasury-related transactions, payment requests, and banking documentation in line with company policies.
  • Monitor outstanding payments, returned transactions, and clearing accounts to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support bank guarantee, letter of credit, and other treasury administration activities when required.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control requirements.
  • Partner with business leaders, project managers, procurement, HR, and operational teams to provide financial guidance and resolve finance-related matters.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in finance operations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, process optimization, and professional development.
