Hostess (Saudi National only)

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Hostess (Saudi National only) to join the team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The Hostess will be responsible for providing a welcoming experience to guests and managing seating arrangements in the dining areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and determine the number in their party.
• Seat guests efficiently at clean, available tables, ensuring chairs are pulled out and current menus are presented.
• Guide guests through dining rooms and offer assistance as needed.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, and organize seating for groups with special requirements.
• Verify that place settings are complete with napkins, clean silverware, and all standard items.
• Inspect menus for currency, cleanliness, quantity, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using "clean-as-you-go" procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Adhere to all company and safety/security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others, including answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a related role.
• Completion of safety training and certifications as required.

Work Environment
