About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves ensuring that various mechanical installations comply with established project standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect installations of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, irrigation, and other mechanical equipment.
Review and respond to mechanical Requests for Inspection (RFIs).
Verify compliance of installations with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Witness and document pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, equipment start-up, and system testing procedures.
Conduct detailed checks on pipework, ductwork, insulation, supports, equipment, fixtures, and connections.
Identify non-compliant work and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover processes for mechanical systems.

Qualifications and Experience

A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection is essential.
Demonstrated experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, and irrigation systems.
Familiarity with industry standards including ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, and Saudi Building Code requirements.
Previous experience in consultancy or construction supervision is preferred.
Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is mandatory.
