About the Role

Wood (KSA) is seeking a Piping Engineer to join its Projects business. This full-time role supports a project site located approximately 150 km from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on engineering design within the energy and materials sectors. The successful candidate will contribute to various projects, ensuring adherence to design principles and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for piping design, plant layout, piping stress concepts, and general requirements from construction, maintenance, and operability perspectives.
• Originate new engineering deliverables and revise existing ones.
• Review and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
• Supervise engineering work produced by junior team members.
• Participate in and conduct job-related training as required.
• Plan and complete work effectively within allocated man-hours, ensuring timely delivery.
• Interface, coordinate, and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.
• Delegate and distribute work, managing team billability.
• Coordinate with all disciplines as necessary for the preparation and development of deliverables, ensuring incorporation of other disciplines' input.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and perform mark-up drawings or as-built activities.
• Manage deliverables submission, including required quality checks and proper record management.
• Perform technical report writing and prepare presentations.
• Conduct vendor document review and manage subcontract scope.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as an Engineer in oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, offshore, mining, or infrastructure industries, with a focus on engineering design projects.
• Possess full knowledge of Aramco standards.
