Sap Business Intelligence Consultant

About the Role

Systems Arabia is seeking an experienced SAP Business Intelligence Consultant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting and enhancing reporting solutions, resolving BI support issues, and developing reports and dashboards within SAP BusinessObjects and BW environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve BI support tickets within agreed service levels and conduct root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Web Intelligence, Lumira/Designer, Crystal Reports, and Analysis for Office.
• Maintain universes, data sources, BW queries, and manage data extraction from SAP S/4HANA.
• Enhance reporting frameworks to meet business requirements, specifically for finance and procurement.
• Support BOBJ platform administration, including scheduling, security, content promotion, and upgrades, in coordination with the SAP Basis team.
• Conduct testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new and modified reports.
• Adhere to SAP best practices, maintain technical documentation, and ensure proper source code handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in SAP BI / BusinessObjects, with a proven track record of delivering 2-3 projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI , including Web Intelligence, Information Design Tool (IDT), and Central Management Console (CMC).
• Experience in SAP BW / BW/4HANA modelling, SQL, and SAP HANA CDS views or calculation views.
• Proven experience in designing dashboards and reports for finance and procurement users.
• Previous experience working on Saudi public-sector projects is preferred.
• Ability to work with ticket management, secure access, and multi-factor authentication systems.

Preferred Skills

• SAP certification in BW or BI/Analytics.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Arabic right-to-left reporting or government KPI dashboards.
