ServiceNow SPM Sr. Technical Consultant

About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a ServiceNow SPM Sr. Technical Consultant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing Service Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions within ServiceNow. The consultant will optimize PPM, Demand Management, APM, and Resource Management to ensure alignment with business objectives, value delivery, and robust governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, configuration, and administration of various ServiceNow SPM modules.
• Support integration activities between ServiceNow SPM and other enterprise systems, utilizing REST, SOAP APIs, and Integration Hub for data exchange.
• Implement best practices for Service Portfolio Management, including workflow optimization, process automation, and establishing governance frameworks within ServiceNow.
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops, performing functional analysis to align business needs with portfolio management capabilities.
• Configure applications, business rules, workflows, and automation scripts using ServiceNow’s scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, and Business Rules).
• Assist in testing, deployment, and change management for new SPM-related implementations, ensuring they meet functional, financial, and strategic requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to portfolio management processes, dashboards, and integrations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for SPM configurations, customizations, integrations, and governance structures.
• Ensure compliance with security, access control policies, and data governance within the Service Portfolio Management framework.
• Stay updated with ServiceNow SPM enhancements, industry trends, and best practices, recommending continuous improvements and innovative solutions.

• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow SPM solutions. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to apply best practices in a professional environment.
