Shift Technician (HVAC)

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Shift Technician (HVAC) to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment, ensuring optimal operational efficiency within the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant and monitor property temperature.
• Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage to identify areas for efficiency.
• Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other relevant equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance as required.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and address service needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and respond appropriately to concerns.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Reach overhead and below the knees.
• Move in confined or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or a ladder.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience is required, with a total experience range of 2-5 years.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
