Analytics Manager

About the Role

Gathern, a Saudi alternative accommodation marketplace, is seeking an Analytics Manager to transform its analytics capabilities. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, focuses on evolving analytics from a reporting service into a trusted decision engine. The manager will establish a single source of truth for data and embed analysts within business functions to identify opportunities and solutions that drive company KPIs, aligning with Vision 2030.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a connected KPI framework, including North Star, primary, and secondary KPIs for each function, ensuring clear ownership and definitions.
• Lead the analytical aspects of annual and quarterly planning cycles, building driver-based models to simulate targets and verify alignment with company goals.
• Own monthly and quarterly performance reports, providing explanations for material variances and recommending actions.
• Set data-backed focus areas for each function quarterly, track the adoption of recommendations, and measure their impact on KPIs.
• Design experiments and post-launch measurement strategies for key initiatives.
• Enforce certified metrics, definition control, and dashboard hygiene across the company, ensuring leadership forums use only validated numbers.
• Build and lead an analytics team, including hiring, coaching, and reviewing work for logic and quality.
• Develop role scorecards and SOPs for analysts, assigning each to a business function for partnership.
• Manage demand intake and prioritization to ensure the team focuses on high-value work.

Team Leadership and Development

The Analytics Manager will be responsible for building and leading an A-player analytics team. This involves implementing an operating rhythm that enables the team to deliver independently, supporting leadership in making faster, evidence-based decisions. The role requires integrating into the company's planning cycle, owning performance measurement and explanation, and setting data-backed priorities for each function.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 6-8 years of relevant experience in analytics and data management.
