Commercial Senior Specialist

About the Role

Riymar is seeking a Commercial Senior Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves managing commercial processes, from tender documentation to cost control and risk management, ensuring project efficiency and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and plans to understand their impact on quantities and costs.
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), estimates, and project costs.
• Prepare and issue tender documents and requests for quotations (RFQs).
• Manage and coordinate the tendering process, including comparing and analyzing technical and commercial offers.
• Study and analyze market prices for materials and finishing works.
• Follow up with and negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
• Identify, analyze, and monitor commercial and contractual project risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Track project costs against approved budgets and identify deviations or savings opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a commercial specialist role.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Proven experience in preparing and managing tender documents and BOQs.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills for cost estimation and market price analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills for engaging with suppliers and contractors.
• Proficiency in identifying and managing commercial and contractual risks.
• Ability to monitor and report on project costs effectively.
