Construction Interface Manager (EXPO)

About the Role

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Construction Interface Manager (EXPO) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing and directing project construction activities, overseeing total site management, and ensuring project operations are compliant, safe, timely, and within scope and budget. The manager will also ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Overview: Expo 2030 Riyadh

Expo 2030 Riyadh is a global platform focused on sustainable development, innovation, and transformative thinking, scheduled from October 2030 to March 2031. The event anticipates over 40 million visits. Bechtel, in collaboration with Expo 2030 Riyadh Company (ERC), will manage the infrastructure program for the 6 km2 Masterplan. This includes early works, utilities, and public spaces, with the site transitioning into a mixed-use legacy development post-event. The project adheres to international sustainability standards for urban afforestation, treated water, and energy sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall construction interface to ensure quality, cost, statutory, safety, environmental, and project scheduling requirements are met.
• Oversee construction interface management to facilitate the delivery of construction works, projects, quality control, management reporting, and risk planning.
• Maintain effective project governance, processes, and systems for project utilization.
• Engage directly with the Customer, Package Manager, other PMC’s, and Contractors on all key internal construction interfaces.
• Plan the construction interface process from inception through to completion.
• Prepare interface plans that are aligned with the critical path of the Project.
• Develop an understanding of interface risks and their optimal allocation and management.
• Manage and coordinate inputs to ensure continuous construction work front availability through reviews of look-ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource charts, material delivery schedules, and other service requirements, including contractor submittals.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management roles.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising construction craft personnel and managing field engineering.
• Proficiency in contract administration, cost and schedule management, field procurement, and finance and accounting related to construction projects.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting the Expo 2030 Riyadh infrastructure program.
