About the Role

McKinsey & Company is seeking a Coordinator Security Operations & Resilience to join its global firm Security team. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. Team Mission and Context

This position is part of the global firm Security team, specifically attached to the MEO office cluster in Riyadh. The team's mission is to enable firm members to deliver distinctive impact safely. This is achieved by leveraging a global network to provide independent perspectives that inform decisions, enhance readiness, and facilitate effective response to security matters.

Key Responsibilities

The Coordinator Security Operations & Resilience will be responsible for actively monitoring, assessing, and enforcing baseline security standards across the region. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting regular reviews of potential threats and hazards that may impact the firm.
Verifying the implementation and functionality of appropriate safeguards across offices, client sites, transportation, and accommodations.
Executing routine control checks and tracking compliance with firm security standards.
Following up on identified security gaps to ensure timely remediation.
Maintaining visibility over risk levels and safeguard status using the firm’s security technology platforms, ensuring data accuracy and currency.
Driving incident readiness by validating preparedness measures, including plans, contacts, and drills.
Supporting real-time response to local incidents and escalating issues as needed.
Contributing to coordinated monitoring and response efforts during global events, including handling safety-related outreach from firm members.
Monitoring global incidents and responding to safety-related inquiries from firm members in a timely manner.
Maintaining and updating risk and safeguard data in the global security platform, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Contributing to continuous improvement by documenting incidents, creating playbooks, and sharing lessons learned.
Providing practical, actionable security guidance and translating firm Security policies into operational actions for effective on-the-ground implementation.

Collaboration and Work Environment

This role involves close collaboration with consulting teams, functional partners such as HR, Technology, Legal, and Office Services. The Coordinator will also engage with stakeholders across the firm Security team, the broader geography, and external security peers.

Availability Requirements

The responsibilities of this position may require availability outside standard working hours to support incident response and time-sensitive monitoring activities.
