About the Role

Deutsche Bank is seeking a Corporate Bank Corporate & Global Subsidiaries Coverage Originator VP to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing and expanding a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, including multinational corporations (MNCs), large local corporates, and government-related entities (GREs) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aligning with the bank's strategic objectives.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Corporate Bank (CB) is a global provider of cash management, trade finance, and securities services. As the primary relationship manager, the VP will deliver a comprehensive suite of Corporate Banking products, including Cash Management, Trade Finance, Lending, FX, and Securities Services. This role requires close collaboration with Investment Banking and Treasury/Markets divisions. The VP will serve as the initial point of contact for client subsidiaries, engaging with local Finance Directors/CFOs and treasury teams to establish Deutsche Bank as a preferred banking partner.

• Portfolio Management: Manage and strengthen senior-level relationships with key decision-makers (CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Directors) within the assigned KSA corporate portfolio. Support and grow the Saudi Local coverage profile through active networking.
• Revenue Generation: Drive profitable revenue growth, meeting financial targets for Net Interest Income (NII) and Fee Income through cross-selling and strategic origination.
• Client Origination: Identify and onboard new target clients within the Kingdom, ensuring alignment with the bank's risk appetite and strategic focus.
• Cross-Collaboration: Work closely with Global Relationship Management (GRM) to ensure Deutsche Bank is the preferred provider and explore all opportunities for client engagement across geographies and products.
• Execution: Act as a full member of Client Service Teams with product teams to ensure smooth execution throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Compliance: Establish and maintain 'Know Your Client' profiles and other required client information in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Strategic Contribution: Assist team leaders in forming viable business strategies, implementation plans, and adapting work processes to market and regulatory changes.
