Engineer Lead

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an Engineer Lead to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of various tools, electrical appliances, and equipment within the facility. The Engineer Lead will also be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, electrical appliances, and equipment.
• Recommend replacements for tools, electrical appliances, and equipment as necessary.
• Calibrate all control and measurement devices and gauges.
• Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and store parts and supplies, maintaining inventory and purchase order logs.
• Control tools, equipment, and machines, and utilize computers for professional information management.
• Operate the elevator and assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Follow and enforce all safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
• Ensure a clean and complete work uniform is worn and maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Anticipate and address customer maintenance needs, communicating clearly and professionally.
• Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with colleagues, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and standards.
• Identify, advise, create, and implement new work methods to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or savings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 12 kilograms independently.
• Capability to ascend and descend stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders, and move on slippery, uneven, or sloped surfaces.
• Perform extension and flexion movements on the knees, including bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.
• Carry, turn, and manipulate loads of various sizes and weights.
• Comfortable working standing, sitting, and being in motion for extended periods.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role. A strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and equipment maintenance is essential. The ability to prepare and revise written documents accurately and completely is also required.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring active participation in daily operational tasks and team collaboration. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where adherence to safety protocols and professional conduct are paramount.
