About the Role

HRsource is seeking a Finance Director to join its leadership team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves scaling the finance organization to support the company's growth. The position requires a finance leader with deep finance operations expertise, strategic finance, M&A, and IPO experience, coupled with strong knowledge of the Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the company’s finance operations, including reporting, accounting, treasury, controls, tax, and financial governance.
• Build scalable finance processes, systems, and controls to support rapid growth and expansion.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, financial modeling, and management reporting.
• Partner with the CEO, leadership team, and Board on financial strategy and decision-making.
• Drive IPO readiness, including institutional-quality reporting, controls, governance, audit, and capital markets preparation.
• Support M&A and corporate development, including financial due diligence, valuation, transaction execution, and post-acquisition integration.
• Lead relationships with auditors, investors, investment banks, advisors, and financial institutions.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team and establish a culture of analytical rigor and operational excellence.
• Drive finance transformation through automation, data, and technology.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently based in Saudi Arabia.
• Fluent in Arabic.
• Strong, hands-on Saudi market experience.
• Understanding of the local regulatory, commercial, and business environment.
• Experience working with Saudi stakeholders, investors, institutions, and/or high-growth businesses in the Kingdom.

Qualifications and Experience

• 12–18+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within technology, SaaS, fintech, software, marketplaces, or another high-growth environment.
• Deep, hands-on finance operations and controllership experience.
• Proven experience scaling finance functions in high-growth businesses.
• Strong FP&A and financial modeling capabilities.
• Meaningful IPO / IPO-readiness experience.
• Significant M&A and transaction experience.
• Strong Saudi Arabia / KSA market experience.
• Experience working closely with CEOs, Boards, investors, auditors, and external advisors.
• Strong understanding of technology business models, KPIs, unit economics, and capital allocation.
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.

Education

Candidates should possess strong academic credentials, ideally from a leading university in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline. MBA, CFA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications are highly valued.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is capable of building the finance infrastructure while also engaging in strategic financial thinking. This role requires comfort with building sophisticated financial models, scaling finance operations and systems, navigating the Saudi business environment, preparing a business for an IPO, leading financial due diligence for acquisitions, advising on capital allocation and fundraising, and presenting financial performance and strategy to the Board.
