About the Role

Dallah Al Baraka Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to managing financial and accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and upholding all internal and regulatory standards within the organization.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health and compliance of the company. This involves leading the finance function, developing robust financial policies, and ensuring that all financial activities align with strategic objectives and legal obligations. The role requires a proactive approach to financial management and a commitment to maintaining high performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of financial and accounting policies and procedures, ensuring the implementation of all relevant procedural and legislative requirements.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance function, facilitating professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
• Prepare the business unit budget and ensure that activities are implemented and processed according to the assigned budget.
• Manage the effective achievement of department objectives by setting individual targets, developing, and motivating staff to maximize subordinate performance.
• Ensure that subordinates adhere to internal operational policies and procedures to provide high-quality, timely service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of best practice techniques and tools in financial and accounting management to optimize efficiency and service levels.
• Maintain ongoing awareness of statutory and legal requirements, communicating these to all relevant company employees to ensure compliance.
• Manage and control the production of key financial statements for the company according to stated schedules, ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accurately apprising senior managers of financial performance.
• Liaise with external bodies and representatives, such as Saudi regulatory authorities and external auditors, ensuring queries are answered promptly and efficiently.
• Manage the preparation of non-routine financial reports and studies for management attention as requested, to support decision-making.
• Coordinate the completion of internal and annual statutory audits as per agreed schedules, ensuring the company meets its statutory obligations and financial risk is minimized.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A formal financial management or accounting qualification (*, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• 7-10 years of related experience in finance or accounting management.

Required Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and team management capabilities, coupled with a deep understanding of financial regulations and best practices. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly are essential for success in this role.
