Full Stack Developer (Java + React)

About the Role

TestCrew | Quality Engineering & Software Testing is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Java + React) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in Java-based backend development and modern frontend frameworks. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable applications and ensuring their smooth operation in production environments.

Job Summary

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for both backend and frontend development, focusing on Java and React technologies. This position involves hands-on experience in building scalable REST APIs using Spring Boot, developing responsive user interfaces, and collaborating with production support teams to resolve live issues in Linux environments. Experience with POS systems and cloud-native environments is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and high-performance UI components using React.
• Develop and maintain web applications using Java, JSP, and React.
• Work hands-on with Linux/Unix commands to investigate logs, monitor processes, and diagnose production issues.
• Align closely with the Production Support team to trace, reproduce, and resolve reported issues (RCA — root cause analysis).
• Work closely with production support and DevOps teams for deployments, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Work with Oracle databases for data modeling and performance tuning.
• Manage and troubleshoot applications in Linux environments.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute to microservices and cloud-native architecture.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in Java-based backend development.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.
• Hands-on experience building scalable REST APIs using Spring Boot.
• Experience with Linux environments for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Experience in POS systems and cloud-native environments is an added advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves close collaboration with production support, DevOps, product, QA, and business stakeholders.
