About the Role

Khatib & Alami is seeking an HSE Engineer to join its corporate HSSE team at the headquarters in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting the development and enforcement of corporate HSSE policies, procedures, tools, and templates across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and updating of corporate HSSE policies and procedures.
Conduct periodic HSSE audits in the headquarters and the Levant & Qatar Region to ensure compliance with HSSE policies and procedures.
Identify HSSE non-conformance issues, summarize findings in audit reports, and develop corrective action plans.
Review and consolidate HSSE audit finding reports from regional and local HSSE Units.
Provide input for periodic HSSE performance reports, highlighting key issues and proposing corporate initiatives.
Support the delivery of HSSE training and awareness sessions for K&A staff, including headquarter staff and the Levant & Qatar Region.
Work with corporate and regional HSSE teams on the development and implementation of action plans to achieve HSSE certification targets (*, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
Develop and update a corporate database of HSSE audits and findings.
Ensure responsibilities are fulfilled with high quality and cost-effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a relevant HSSE role.
Demonstrated ability to support the development and implementation of HSSE policies and procedures.
Experience in conducting HSSE audits and developing corrective action plans.
Familiarity with HSSE certification targets such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Skills and Attributes

Strong understanding of HSSE principles and practices.
Ability to deliver HSSE training and awareness sessions.
Proficiency in identifying non-conformance issues and summarizing findings.
Effective communication and coordination skills with various teams and units.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at Khatib & Alami's headquarters in Riyadh. The role involves working as a key member of the corporate HSSE team and collaborating with regional and local HSSE units.
