About the Opportunity

Parsons Corporation is seeking a full-time IT Support professional, a Saudi National, to join its team in Riyadh. This role focuses on providing essential hands-on and remote IT support services for critical infrastructure across the Riyadh Metro Project and its associated site offices. The primary goal is to ensure the efficient operation of business-critical technology services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and remote technical support for the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop computers, workstations, software, hardware, and telecom circuits.
• Support daily IT operations across the Riyadh Metro Project and associated site offices, including desktop, server, network, voice, and mobile device support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows-based operating systems and business applications, including Windows 11.
• Perform PC and server installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance activities, and configuration management tasks.
• Support network infrastructure, including TCP/IP connectivity, VPNs, routers, managed switches, and firewall configurations.
• Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions, group policies, and administrative rights.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party support providers to resolve technical issues related to hardware and software systems.
• Document incidents, service requests, and status updates through Salesforce and other designated ticketing platforms.
• Provide guidance to end users on IT standards, policies, procedures, and proper use of technology resources.
• Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved effectively and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced operational environment while maintaining service quality and responsiveness.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate IT-related work experience.
• Hands-on experience in PC and server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, routers, managed switches, and firewall configurations.
• Good understanding of Windows desktop operating systems, including Windows 11.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory administration, user account management, group policies, and access rights.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve common hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Experience in end-user support within an IT support, desktop support, helpdesk, or MIS environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and perform under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and multitasking skills.

Desired Skills and Certifications

• Industry-recognized certifications such as MCP, MCSE, CCNA, or ITIL.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, transportation, or rail projects.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar IT service management and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of voice systems, telecom circuits, and mobile device support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
